What makes our curriculum special is the CLIL approach. We integrate English language learning in almost all classroom activities. This method stimulates English language learning and use in various communicative situations.

What are the advantages of learning a foreign language at kindergarten (at an early age)?

Studies have shown that during the first years it is much easier for children to learn foreign languages. The earlier children are exposed to other languages, the better their ability to understand and communicate in their mother tongue.

EuroEd provides children with this opportunity by promoting the learning of English. We believe this approach will ensure children’s school readiness and successful academic progress.

What ELT methods are used?

Our teachers have an excellent command of English. They use communicative interactive methods tailored to meet children’s specific needs.

Does English language learning affect the communication skills in the mother tongue?

Learning a second language does not influence the acquisition of the Romanian language. The ability to be accurate and fluent in both languages depends on age, intelligence, personality and other personal skills.

Teaching methods

We use a combination of the most efficient teaching methods (including storytelling).

The appropriate educational environment is ensured by using attractive teaching resources for each stage of cognitive development which make the most of the children’s learning potential. The teachers’ role is to observe and foster the learning process by continuously reshaping the environment. The activities expose children to different experiences meant to help them develop a certain concept or skill, and thus lay the foundation of a lifelong learning process. Children select and work with teaching resources to acquire knowledge and skills in different areas. The practical activities are related to elements from their own home environment, something that facilitates sensorial development and shapes language and mathematical skills.

Our goal is to create and maintain a positive environment in which children are encouraged to respect and collaborate with each other. Also, through all our activities we aim to develop children’s critical thinking and creativity.
